GOP Rep. Says He'd 'F**king Kill' Tucker Carlson If They Ever Met In Awkward Hot Mic Moment

After GB News journalist Steven Edginton asked Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw if he's "ever met" the former Fox News host, Crenshaw remarked he'd "f**king kill" Carlson if he ever met him—and then tried to deny it on social media.

Unless he has a death wish, let's hope far-right political commentator Tucker Carlson won't be running into Republican Texas Representative Dan Crenshaw anytime soon.

Why? Well, it might not end well for the former Fox News conspiracy theorist.

Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who was wounded in action and lost an eye on this third deployment in Afghanistan, told GB News journalist Steven Edginton after wrapping up their interview that he might kill Carlson if the two ever met.

His aside, picked up on a hot mic, was in response to Edginton asking Crenshaw, "Have you ever met Tucker?"

The Texas Congressman, not realizing he could be heard during the casual chat, sneered:

“If I ever meet Tucker Carlson, I’ll f**king kill him. I’m not joking.”

A clip of the exchange that made Edginton grin was shared and deleted on GB News' X (formerly Twitter) page, but the internet always keeps the receipts.

Leading up to his threat, Crenshaw had referred to his past barbs with Carlson on social media, commenting, “We’ve talked a lot on Twitter."

He also called Carlson “the worst person.”

The internet enjoyed the train wreck.

When far-right Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene read Edginton's recollection of Crenshaw's statement on X, she tagged her fellow lawmaker and asked him if he threatened "to kill my friend @TuckerCarlson?"

Crenshaw lied, replying, "lol, no."

The response prompted readers to add context confirming, "Dan Crenshaw did in fact say that if he ever met Tucker he would kill him."

A screenshot of the exchange was shared by MeidasTouch's Ron Filipkowski, who observed:

The GOP circus is running wild, and social media users are enjoying the clowning.

Edginton later added, "Proof Dan Crenshaw said he would KILL Tucker Carlson if he met him. He told me when I laughed it wasn't a joke," and attached a link to the now-deleted video on GB News' X page.

When Carlson caught wind of the threat, he challenged Crenshaw to a showdown.

"Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do?" the eponymous host of The Tucker Carlson Show wrote.

He tagged Crenshaw and added, "I’ll send you my address."

People are ready to save the date.

Crenshaw and Carlson's feud had gone on for years, with the latest jab coming from Carlson last year when he called the Congressman the “single-most left-wing" member of Congress he's ever met and accused him of having “no interest in the United States whatsoever.”

Crenshaw didn't hold back when he tore into Carlson last year in a lengthy diatribe, calling him a "click-chaser" and a “cowardly, know-nothing elitist who is full of sh*t."

He also stated:

"Tucker’s MO is simple: defend America’s enemies and attack America’s allies. There isn’t an objective bone left in that washed up news host’s body."

The cracks within the GOP are beginning to deepen as the Republican in-fighting increases.

Meanwhile, we have our popcorn ready.
