The singer took to X to publicly beg her former partner to respond to her about their child's "medical crisis" before later deleting the tweets.

Elon Musk's ex, Canadian music artist Grimes publicly called out the tech billionaire's parental negligence in a series of tweets on his platform X (formerly Twitter) before deleting them.

In 2018, Musk and the "Genesis" singer confirmed they were dating. The exes have three children together, a 4-year-old son X Æ A-Xii; a 2-year-old son Techno Mechanicus; as well a 3-year-old daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl.

On Wednesday, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, pleaded with the tech billionaire to respond to their "child's medical crisis."

She continued:

“I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention."

The musician added:

"If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this."

"This is urgent, Elon," Grimes concluded.

In another post, Grimes wrote:

“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f**king respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we are at."

She followed up with another post, writing:

"I am deleting them now because if they're being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids."

Users hoped the child was okay, and they shared other thoughts on the distressing situation.

Musk is working closely under Republican President Donald Trump's administration as head of the unofficial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has been tasked with shutting down agencies, reducing the federal workforce, and canceling anti-discrimination policies.

Grimes' plea for parental guidance regarding their child happened around the same time he accepted a chainsaw from Argentine President Javier Milei at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event on Thursday.

Wearing a black “Make America Great Again” hat, Musk wielded the chainsaw marked with the Spanish inscription, "Viva la Libertad carajo!" which translates to, "Long live liberty, damn it!"

Musk yelled to the roaring crowd, "This is the chainsaw for bureaucracy! Chainsaw!"

Grimes previously spoke out after not being informed the Tesla CEO had brought their four-year-old son, X Æ A-12, into the Oval Office for a televised press conference with Trump.

When an X user alerted her about her son's appearance, explaining how "Lil X was very polite today!" at the briefing and was "so cute when he told DJT 'please forgive me, I need to pee,'" Grimes replied:

“He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

In November, Grimes claimed her custody battle with Musk prevented her from seeing one of their three children for months, adding that she recently “spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers rights having my Instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn’t have my kids and fighting.”

Musk, a believer in the “pronatalist” movement that encourages childbearing and a higher birth rate, has 12 children with three different women.

The world's richest man has six children with his ex-wife Justine Wilson. Their first child, Nevada, died from SIDS when he was 10 months old.

Musk and Wilson continued their family through in vitro fertilization and had twins in 2004, followed by triplets in 2006.

In 2022, their elder twin came out as a trans woman and legally changed her gender identity and name to Vivian Jenna Wilson when she was 18.

Wilson, who took her mother's surname, is estranged from her father and has spoken out against his transphobic remarks in addition to slamming him for giving the Nazi salute at Trump's inauguration festivities.

In addition to the three children Musk has with Grimes, he has twins born via IVF and a child born via surrogacy with Neuralink tech executive Shivoon Zilis.
